Software engineering
Back-end, front-end, mobile, integration. Our platforms run in production at insurers and regulators: the code lives there for years, and gets read far more often than it gets written.
Careers
Digitech equips insurers, regulators and public programmes across 15 African markets. The platforms we build serve millions of people who otherwise have no access to them.
No open position posted today: we hire through unsolicited applications, and we reply within ten working days.
Working at Digitech
Ten platforms in production, not mock-ups. What you write will run at a pan-African reinsurer, a national social security fund or a commodities exchange.
Mobile money, intermittent networks, phones without touchscreens, multiple regulatory frameworks. Our constraints are not those of a European company, and that is what makes the work interesting.
Every deployment pairs a business profile with a technical one. Each learns the other's field because there is no other way to build.
Job families
We do not publish job descriptions. What we can publish are the six fields our teams work in: they are exactly the choices the application form will offer you.
Back-end, front-end, mobile, integration. Our platforms run in production at insurers and regulators: the code lives there for years, and gets read far more often than it gets written.
Pricing, fraud detection, climate indices, automated document reading. African datasets, rarely clean, often unprecedented.
Actuarial work, underwriting, claims, reinsurance, compliance. Without that domain knowledge, an insurance platform is just a database.
Scoping, portfolio migration, training client teams, go-live. This is where a deployment succeeds or fails, far more than in the code.
Our platforms handle sensitive personal and financial data for regulated companies. Security is not a layer added at the end.
Insurers, reinsurers, regulators and public programmes, across fifteen markets. A long, technical cycle that requires understanding what you are selling.
None of these families fits you? Write to us anyway: the list describes our current teams, not a boundary.

What we look for
Our users work with unstable networks, modest phones and sometimes still paper. Designing for them means going to see, not assuming.
A developer who refuses to learn what a technical provision is, or an actuary who refuses to read code, gets stuck here quickly.
An insurance platform that is down means claims that go unsettled. We would rather ship late than ship wrong.
Our markets are francophone and anglophone: most of our deployments are run in both languages.
Our locations
The work is spread across these four addresses. Tell us in your application which one would suit you best.
Regional headquarters
Côte d'Ivoire, Angré 9ème Tranche, Immeuble Cube. Operational centre for West and Central Africa.
International headquarters
The group's holding structure and its international B2B activity.
Sales office
Business development across Southern and anglophone African markets.
Location
The group's presence in the United States.
Open positions
That does not mean we are not hiring. We simply have no list of vacancies to display: tell us what you can do, and we will tell you plainly whether we have a need. Every application is read.
